Day 27 - Joints in June

Good morning everyone! 🌞?

Did you know that aching joints and frozen shoulder can be a symptom of menopause?

Menopausal joint pain is usually worse in the morning when joints are stiff from disuse overnight but tends to lighten up as the day progresses with movement. The neck, jaw, shoulders, wrists, and elbows are commonly affected. Symptoms include stiffness, swelling, shooting pains, and burning sensations after exercise.

Here are some tips to help:

1. Regular Exercise - Choose low-impact activities like swimming or Pilates.

2. Healthy Diet - Ensure you're getting the nutrients your body needs.

3. Quit Smoking - Smoking can worsen joint pain.

4. Seek Professional Help if needed.
